DuoTask Terms of Use
Effective: November 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Namaste Needham Consulting ("we") for the DuoTask web app and the DuoTask iPhone and Android apps. By creating an account you agree to them. Our DuoTask Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data.
Your account
- You must be at least 13 years old to use DuoTask.
- Keep your sign-in details private. You are responsible for activity on your account.
- You can delete your account at any time. See how to delete your account.
Your content
The tasks and notes you add are yours. You give us permission to store, sync and display them to you, your partner and anyone you send a task link to, only so the app can work.
Acceptable use
Don't use DuoTask to break the law, harass anyone, send spam, or try to access other people's data or disrupt the service.
Premium
DuoTask is free. If we offer an optional Premium subscription, its price and features will be shown before you buy. One subscription covers both partners in a pair. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. Purchases made through Apple or Google are billed, renewed, cancelled and refunded under their terms; Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies to the iPhone app. Purchases on our website are processed by Stripe and can be cancelled at any time from the link in your receipt; you keep Premium until the end of the period you paid for.
Availability
We work to keep DuoTask running and your data safe, but the service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. We may change or discontinue features. If we ever shut DuoTask down, we will give at least 30 days' notice and a way to export your tasks.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for a missed task or reminder. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Ending your use
You can stop using DuoTask and delete your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.
Changes and law
We will post changes here and update the date above. These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
